Olympus DSLR Cleaning System Dust (SSWF)

Olympus DSLR Cleaning System Dust (SSWF). One that we worry about when we use digital cameras, especially the kind of DSLR is the problem of dust or small particles that landed on the camera sensor. Actually this problem is not just happening on a DSLR camera, but the structure of a DSLR camera body to facilitate us to replace the lens, made of dust or small particles more easily enter and attack our camera outtakes.

Therefore, as one of the Olympus digital SLR camera manufacturers have technology that can clean up the problem of dust particles that stop censored camera technology from Olympus called the Supersonic Wave Filter (SSWF). SSWF technology was first applied in 2003 when the first Olympus camera out of his DSLR is the Olympus E-1.

To help us imagine how SSWF work, the front of the camera sensor is placed before the glass filter devices (SSWF) surrounding the sensor, it works by issuing SSWF ultrasonic waves that can eliminate the vibrations of dust particles that are in front of the camera sensor. With this technology, it is a significant dust can be reduced and the resulting picture will be more clearly because it is not disturbed by the dust on the camera sensor.

SSWF technology system developed by Olympus was also inspired several other digital camera companies to use similar methods to reduce or eliminate dust on DSLR camera sensor. In fact, in mid 2010, the system SSWF of Olympus have been awarded the National Invention Award in Japan.
